Nine hours of uninterrupted sleep. Nothing better. A day off in Riverton. Hee-haa! Baths for all!
Winds still going strong outside.
Big event of the day was the purchase of a new rear tire and a NEW ergodynamic and cushy Teddy seat, to replace my 20 year hardened Avocet. Better life through science, so we'll see...
Still grey skies, still windy, still dusty. Reminds me of Patagonia in Argentina, where Ellen and I "did" time for 2 sabbaticals in 1996 and 2001.
Back to tacking my way northward, and onto Thermopolis tomorrow.

Thermopolis! Now that brings back memories of my childhood. Friends lived there next to huge ponds of hot mineral water. We swam more than once at the Star Plunge, one of the downtown pools fed by mineral water. And of course the words "World's Largest Hot Springs" written on the mountainside. But the most memorable was the canyon road into town from Shoshoni. Take photos, my friend!
